Last weekend was super busy – we spent the weekend in Tuscaloosa, visiting family, and I had a wedding (that was beautiful – which I will blog when I’m done with edits) on Saturday night. But Saturday started out with a relaxed early morning photo shoot with a great family – Chris, Chandra, and Carleigh.
Chandra had actually contacted me a couple months ago to schedule a photo shoot – but between our busy schedules, and Chris’ plea to wait till cooler weather (who wants to sweat during a photo shoot if they don’t have to?!) – October was our best bet. Of course, October in Alabama can go either way, it can be pleasant or unbearably hot…so scheduling it for last weekend was a gamble.
But – as you can see – it was a gamble that most definitely turned out in our favor! The weather was GORGEOUS and my company was perfect! I couldn’t have asked for a better start to the weekend!
I’ve known Carleigh since she was in preschool…I cannot believe how much she has grown!
They are such a sweet family…
Carleigh was rockin’ it in her pink hat…
And we had to work on it a little (she really just loves smiling for the camera!), but she finally gave me a little attitude. 🙂
I think this is a pretty neat, symbolic photo – the links that make up a family.
Thanks, Chris, Chandra, & Carleigh…I had a blast with y’all on that beautiful morning!!
