{Sweet Baby} Cooper ~ Montgomery, Alabama Newborn Photographer

Well, hello there!

Let me be the first to welcome you myself back to the land of blogging! 🙂  I have lot to catch up on (a LOT!) but more on that later.  For today, I wanted to share a super precious newborn I got the absolute privilege of photographing.  Meet little Cooper.

His mom, Katherine, emailed me several days ago, telling me that me she’d had plans to contact me regarding a newborn session for later on this month – she had been due toward the end of January.  And then, surprise!  Cooper decided it was time to make his grand entrance before the first of the year {3 weeks early!} and so I got the email after he was actually born.

I’m so glad it worked out that we could schedule this session.  He is such a cutie.  During our email exchanges, his mama told me what a good sleeper he is and that we shouldn’t have any problem keeping him asleep during our session together.  Of course, Cooper must not have gotten the same memo because…well, he decided that today was actually not a good day for sleep.   But as I’ve said many times before, that’s perfectly fine!  Babies do what babies do and I work with it.  **And he did take a little catnap, so we can’t say he was awake the entire time!

One thing I love about living in Montgomery is our proximity to the air force base.  During any given year, I am afforded several opportunities to photograph military families and every experience getting to know these families is so special.  Thanks to the nature of military life, they usually don’t stick around for long, so I often only get to see them once or twice…but I do enjoy all of the people I get to meet.  And Cooper and his mama and daddy are no exception to this rule!

Katherine and Cedar seem to have things so under control – and are going to be great parents to little Cooper!

And now, I am going to hush and just let you enjoy the {incredibly precious} view from my lens.
