Christmas Card Mini Sessions

I am still offering full digital mini-sessions…but this is for those of you who really only need ONE photo for your Christmas card (and/or gifts). These will be held in Montgomery and there are only a few session times available each day! If you are in the Northeast Alabama area (Scottsboro, Huntsville, etc.) and want to try to schedule a mini-session for the weekend after Thanksgiving, let me know that, too!

{Sweet Family} Monica & Kids – YEAR FIVE! Montgomery, Alabama Family Photographer

I look forward to every October…and it’s not because of Halloween.  No, it’s because I know I will be seeing Monica and her kiddos again!  I cannot believe this is the FIFTH year I’ve photographed her lovely family…time passes so quickly!  I also can’t tell you just how fun it is seeing the kids growing up, even if it is a sort of bittersweet fun. Their personalities are precious and I absolutely enjoy every second I’m with them!

I am too excited to share photos with you…we found the best location this year – a patch of lovely wildflowers that I happened upon just beyond the location we’d chosen to take photographs.  I wouldn’t have found these wildflowers if I’d been looking for them, so we really were so lucky!

Just as I’m so lucky to have such a beautiful, sweet, and funny family in front of my camera every year.

So sit back and enjoy!

Monica – thanks for sharing another year with me! I hope you enjoy these photos just as much as I enjoyed taking them!

{I Do} Jarred & Aubrie ~ Montgomery, Alabama Wedding Photographer

Guys.  Do you remember when I photographed Jarred & Aubrie‘s engagement photos?  I was excited, then, about their wedding.  And even a week after the fact, I am still excited about it! Everything about the day was just perfect.  From the lovely beach house property to the completely gorgeous weather…really, I don’t think it would’ve been possible to ask for a more perfect setting for a wedding.   Every detail was looked after with such care – it was a simply beautiful day with simply beautiful people.

I’m going to go ahead and apologize for the volume of photos in this post.  Oh, who am I kidding?  I’m so excited to finally share their day with you that there will be no apologizing to be done from me!  And you know what they say about a picture being worth a thousand words?

This post is going to be worth at least a few thousand, so I won’t add in my commentary to bog things down.  And I hope you enjoy reliving their special day with me. 🙂

Jarred and Aubrie, congratulations on becoming Mr. & Mrs.!  Your day was completely lovely and I am so glad I was able to document it for you.  I love you both and wish many, many happy years for you to come!

{Sweet Baby} Adalee ~ Montgomery, Alabama Newborn Photographer

I love newborns.  Seriously love them, because they are so soft and sleepy (at least when I get to see them!).  They have a particular fresh smell.  And then, in the blink of an eye, they grow like crazy and aren’t newborns anymore.  They stop sleeping so much and start engaging with their world.

I have particular favorites about every age group that I’ve ever photographed…and one of my top favorite things about photographing a newborn is that I get the chance to document that tiny window of time when they’re still recovering from being in utero for 9 months. It’s so neat and pretty amazing that in no time at all, they’ll be a walking, talking person with their own unique personality.

Meet Adalee.

When her mom, Kathy, asked me about newborn photos, I was super excited.  I’d seen Adalee at church a couple of times and was in love with her sweet face and her hair…oh my! that hair!

Okay, I’ll hush, now…and let you enjoy the sweetness.

Kathy, I hope you enjoy these photos! Thanks so much for sharing Adalee with me for a couple hours – I SO enjoyed getting to know her (and you!) better!!
